Know what happens before you submit.
Ozarks Crime Watch is a media and public-awareness project, not a law-enforcement agency or emergency service.
Information collected
The public tip form can collect the message you submit, the related case, location context, and any name, email address, or phone number you choose to provide. Website hosting and security services may also process ordinary technical request data.
Tip submissions are not guaranteed anonymous
You may omit the optional name, email, and phone fields, but that does not create a guarantee of technical anonymity. Do not use this website for emergencies, immediate threats, or information that must reach law enforcement without delay.
Contact emergency services or the responsible law-enforcement agency directly.
How submitted information may be used
Information may be reviewed for relevance, accuracy, follow-up, editorial research, case-file updates, or referral to an appropriate official agency. We do not promise that every submission will be published, investigated, answered, or forwarded.
Retention and access
Access should be limited to people responsible for tip review and site administration. Submissions should be retained only as long as needed for review, follow-up, public-interest documentation, and applicable legal or safety obligations.
Your choices
You can avoid submitting optional contact information. You may also contact the team to ask about access, correction, or deletion of information you submitted, subject to legal and safety limits.
